When you neglect the fact that adulthood allows you to better enjoy bursts of irresponsibility in the context of responsibility, you deny the greatest adage about maturity: “Growing up does NOT mean growing old”. Get a job, only drink after sundown on weekdays, raise a family, have a reasonable bedtime. Having those things makes throwing it all to the wind for awhile all the more fun. Think about it.
